It is through the hard work of all of these people that JHTA provides assurance in backing the ‘Team Matrix’ pledge of total support and excellence.

Matt Brumby; Wheelchair Athlete and Motivational Speaker
Matrix are proud to be connected and partnered with Matt Brumby, an amazing man who has overcome so much and now inspires countless others as a motivational speaker and wheelchair athlete.
Matt served with the Royal Australian Navy for over 6 years, and while in the process of qualifying as a clearance diver he injured his back and was moved to other duties. Without his knowledge, a pocket of fluid formed inside his spinal cord causing him to lose consciousness and start a traffic accident which resulted in him becoming permanently paralyzed.
Not one to be dampened, Matt ensured that he took advantage of all the opportunities still available to him. He has since achieved more than a lot of able bodied people; delivering pools, riding dirt bikes, racing go-karts, using farming equipment and now competing internationally in para-triathlons. Only taking up the sport in 2009 after being convinced by a friend, it is beyond amazing that he won the British Para-triathlon for Spint Distance Championship in 2011 and continues to compete at such a high level to today.
Mat is a testament to what a lot of hard work and a positive attitude can achieve. If you would like to find out more about Matt he can be contacted through his website: www.mattbrumby.com.au
